Once upon a time being the deepest frontier territory, Houston has disrupted American history numerous times during its eventful history. The disruptions being the war with Mexico, the first oil gush at Spindletop salt dome, and the landing on the moon by Apollo astronauts. Amidst these stark events, transportation, health care, and education have grown steadily rendering Houston America’s capital of energy, health care and museums.
